Based on a tale by Charles Dickens from "A Tale of Two Cities", The Woodsman and The Farmer are "Fate" and "Death", each tasked with guiding lost souls to their ends. Two hikers, lost in the wilderness and desperate to survive, mistakenly stumble into the unseen workings of the fates, and face the overzealous Farmer's enticing lure into his field of death.
