A vessel named 'Star of Asia' sinks with 6 Crores Rupees worth of gold and diamonds. Interpol gets involved and they assign an Agent, Himadhri Choudhry, who has a sweetheart in Leena Saigol, to work incognito for her dad, Preetam. Soon he will be asked to travel to Tokyo where an employee of the Indian Embassy, Marikawa, is waiting to first seduce, and then have him killed.
Vishal (Rishi Kapoor) comes from a wealthy Hindu family. His father is well known Chandraprakash Singh (Amrish Puri), and his mom is a housewife, Sharda (Asha Parekh). Vishal falls in love with a young Catholic girl, Ruby Miranda (Farha). While Ruby's dad (Alok Nath) approves of the marriage, Chandraprakash does not, and will not even hear of his son marrying someone not of equal status in wealth, leave alone a different religion. Thus Kailash carries out his vengeance against Jagmohan. Now Kailash is faced with advocate Ajay Verma, who has molested his sister, Shilpa.
