Biography

Solar, born Kim Yong-sun (김용선), is a South Korean singer and songwriter, best known as the leader and main vocalist of the South Korean girl group MAMAMOO. She made her solo debut with the single "Spit It Out" on April 23, 2020 and released her first mini album 容: Face on March 16, 2022. She made a cameo appearance in the 2015 romance web drama "Imaginary Cat" as Jung Soo-in. She has appeared in various South Korean variety and reality shows and has won the Best Entertainer Award in Variety Show in the 2021 KBS Entertainment Awards.
